Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why are the treatments so cheap? Will I receive a full treatment?
A: Yes you will receive a full acupuncture treatment. We are able to offer cheaper prices because we are able to treatment several patients at the same time.
Q: How private is the treatment area?
A: The room has two beds which are fully divided by curtains so you are not able to be seen by the other patients.
Q: How long will my treatment be?
A: Your treatment slot will be 40 minutes. This will include consultation, treatment and booking time.
Q: Do I need to bring anything with me?
A: It is best to wear lose fitting clothes that are comfortable to lie down in. You can also bring names of any medication you may be on, medical reports and blood results.
Q: When should I arrive for my appointment?
A: We recommend you arrive at least 10 minutes before your actual appointment time to give you time to fill in your forms. As the clinic runs on a very tight schedule, if you arrive any later than 15 minutes after your appointment time we will unfortunately be unable to treat you.
Q: What is your cancelation policy?
A: We require at least 24 hours notice for the cancelation of an appointment or else the full appointment fees will apply. Late arrivals, more than 15 minutes after your appointment time, will not be treated and full charges will apply.
Q: Is acupuncture painful?
A: No. You are able to feel the needles slightly when they are put in but it is generally
found to be a very relaxing experience.
Q: Is acupuncture & Chinese herbal medicine safe?
A: Yes. All needles used are single use disposable needles and all practitioners are members of UK's large accreditation associations and must abide by their codes of conduct and safe practice. All herbal medicines used are plant based products and comply with UK regulations.
